We offer the following Certificate and Degrees:
- Certificate of Biblical Studies: BBC-101, BBC-102, BBC-103 and BBC-104
- Master of Arts in Biblical Studies: BBC-101, BBC-102, BBC-103, BBC-104, BBM-105, BBM-106, BBM-111, BBM-112, BBM-113, BBM-114 and BBM-115
- Master of Divinity in Pastoral Theology: BBC-101, BBC-102, BBC-103, BBC-104, BBM-105, BBM-106, BBM-107, BBM-108, BBM-109, BBM-110, BBM-111 and BBM-112
Normative:
- Classes take place online and live, in the 1st semester in March, April and May; and in the 2nd semester in August, September and October, always with two modules per week with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, totaling four modules per semester.
- *The assessment of the Hebrew Lexical and Greek Lexical modules is the delivery of a translation of a passage within 4 weeks after classes. These modules are offered every two years.
- Resources: For online classes, the student must have access to the internet and a device, preferably a computer, to follow the classes and access the materials on the EaD platform. For face-to-face classes, it is necessary for the student to provide their costs for transportation and personal meals.
- The student can enter the course at any time, and what will count towards his/her training is the completion of all modules to obtain the required certificate/diploma.
- **In the Master of Biblical Studies to complete the 12 required courses the student will need to take an additional BBM 113 or BBM 114.
- The Master of Divinity in Pastoral Theology is offered only to male pastors devoted to ministry.
- To obtain our Master's Degree recognized by the MEC, it is necessary to have an undergraduate degree in Brazil certified by the MEC, which has been completed before the start of the Master's course.
- Payment for the course is made per module as they are offered. It is also necessary to pay the enrollment fee each semester.
Doctorate in Pastoral Theology
Diploma recognized by MEC - Ministry of Education in Brazil
Module: Thesis Writing
- Semiannual enrollment in the module until the dissertation is completed and approved by the doctoral program supervisor;
- A completed dissertation must be between 50,000 and 80,000 words;
- Submit the completed dissertation to an external reader (who is approved by your supervisor) for review and comments before submitting it to the doctoral supervisor;
- Incorporate external reader comments into the dissertation in consultation with the doctoral advisor;
- Submit the revised dissertation for approval to the doctoral advisor;
Submit the final dissertation for approval to the doctoral program advisor.
Normative:
- To enter the BBS doctoral program, the prospect must present a Research Project by signing up on the course page, then, after approval of their research project by the doctoral program supervisor, the prospect can join the course and enroll in the module BBM-110 Thesis Writing;
- Research projects are accepted at the beginning of each semester;
Guidance classes for Dissertation Writing take place online and live on the 1st Monday of the month, in the 1st semester from March to June; and in the 2nd semester from August to November;
- Completion of the course and granting of the Diploma will be after approval of the final dissertation by the director of the doctoral program;
- To obtain our Doctorate Diploma recognized by the MEC it is necessary to have a Bachelor's degree in Brazil certified by the MEC and have completed a Master's degree.
