Dr. Coleman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University, a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Graham Schools of Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Coleman was also a U.S. Navy instructor at the Naval Nuclear Training Force Units at Ballston Spa, New York and Charleston, South Carolina. He has ministered in eight different churches as a senior pastor, in missions, or in ministry education positions. He has also served as an adjunct professor at two seminaries, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in evangelism, missions, and church growth. Dr. Coleman is president and academic and instructional coordinator of Bluegrass Baptist Seminary.
